The information and data in the DRDB is intended for Disaster Risk Management and Disaster Resilient Planning purposes. The hazard risk profile is generated using available data from the line ministries as well as data available in open source. The risk profile intends to guide local administrations in carrying out local level risk resilient development planning and identify DRR investment required. The custodian of the platform or the consultant developed are not responsible for the misuse or misrepresentation of the data in any form. The user may acknowledge the use of data as "Data source: DRDB database, NDMA, 2024".

The custodian and the consultant provide no warranty, representation or guaranty as to the content, sequence, accuracy, timeliness or completeness of any of the database information provided herein as the base database was mainly generated through compilation of data from various line ministries in the country. Map information is believed to be accurate but accuracy is not guaranteed, and the information contained in WebGIS is NOT to be construed or used as a "legal description". While the consultant took utmost care in carrying out the hazard and risk modelling following scientific methodologies, the results estimated sectoral losses and population at risk needs to be treated as indicative not as prescriptive for planning purposes.

In no event, the custodian of the DRDB or the consultant be liable for any damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, loss of business information or other pecuniary loss that might arise from the use of this web tool or the information it contains. The loss information provided in the DRDB is basically for DRR and risk resilient planning and by no means can be used for paying compensation of any new or past disasters occurred in the country.
